Alisa Cordesius has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Alisa started their career in 2009 as an International Relations Coordinator and Language Acquisition Teacher for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET). Alisa later worked as a Monitoring & Evaluation Field Assistant for Mercy Corps. In 2012, they became a Project Manager for the NYU Advanced M&E Project in International Development Programming at Counterpart International.

Continuing their journey, Cordesius joined the San Francisco Parks Alliance as a Donor Communications Manager in 2013. Alisa later transitioned to roles at Indiegogo, where they served as the Manager of Nonprofits & Social Innovation Outreach and later as the Director of Social Innovation & Design Outreach.

In 2016, Cordesius joined Facebook as a Strategic Partner Development professional for Social Good Programs and later as the Product Partnerships Lead for Charitable Giving. Alisa then moved on to Unreasonable in 2019, working as a Digital Marketing & Communications Lead.

Next, Cordesius joined Meta (formerly known as Facebook) and held positions as the Strategic Partner Manager for Social Impact and the Strategic Partnership Lead for NORAM Social Impact.

Currently, Cordesius is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Kiva, a role they took on in 2023. Alisa brings a wealth of experience and expertise in strategic partnerships and social impact to their role.

Alisa Cordesius earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International/Global Studies from UCLA in 2009. In 2013, they obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Additionally, in 2007, Alisa completed a course on Intermediate Spanish Grammar, Conversation, and Culture at Universidad de Belgrano.
