Debra Des Vignes

Debra Des Vignes is an experienced professional currently serving as the Founder and Executive Director of the Indiana Prison Writers Workshop since October 2018, and as the Communications Manager for Kiwanis International since July 2022. Previous roles include Program and Communications Officer at The West Foundation from February 2020 to July 2022, and Community Initiatives at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis from October 2018 to March 2020. Additionally, Debra held a short-term contracting position in Communications at Eli Lilly and Company in 2018, and served as Vice President of Communications at HVAF of Indiana, Inc. from January 2011 to September 2017. Debra's academic background includes a degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, and ongoing studies in the Entrepreneurship Program at Duke University, focusing on Leadership, Management, and Budgeting.
