Kyle Cote-Dear has a diverse work experience spanning from 2017 to 2022. In 2017, they worked at the Vancouver Film School as a Gameplay/Level Designer for two projects: Hyper Action Force and ArcMage. Their tasks included frame data creation, task breakdowns for gameplay and animation, and authoring the GDD while managing internal documentation. In 2018, they began working at Electronic Arts (EA) as an Assistant Game Designer for FIFA Ultimate Team 18/19/20. Their tasks included ownership and design of self-contained areas of the game such as updating functionality of specific menu flows or the 'Create a Stadium' feature in '20. Currently, they are working at KIXEYE as an Associate Designer where they focus on Content and Systems Design for War Commander: Rogue Assault (WCRA). Their tasks include designing, managing and implementing the game's suite of Units and Buildings for release in a monthly cadence, and ensuring end-to-end production and design of the game's monetizable assets.

Kyle Cote-Dear attended Vancouver Film School in 2017, where they studied Game and Interactive Media Design. Prior to that, they attended the University of Victoria from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Creative Writing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA in Creative Writing.
