Karen Sturgeon CPC has been working in the executive search industry since 1996. Karen began their career at Laughlin and Associates as an Executive Recruiter. In 1999, they joined KLA Industries as President/Owner and an Executive Recruiter specializing in Machinery and Polymer Materials. At KLA Industries, they are responsible for identifying and evaluating those who excel in the Plastics/Polymers Industry, and filling Manufacturing Management, Sales, and Technical (Engineering and R&D) positions in salary ranges of 75K and above.

Karen Sturgeon CPC obtained their BA from the University of Cincinnati in 1981, with a field of study in Theatre. Karen then went on to obtain their MS in Education from Adelphi University in 1992. Additionally, they hold a CPC certification.
