Wei Qin has extensive experience in firmware development and engineering, currently serving as a Firmware Development Manager at KLA since August 2016, where responsibilities include managing firmware development for wafer inspection platforms. Prior to this role, Wei held the position of Staff Engineer in System Design and Servo Firmware at WD, focusing on high-performance servo systems using advanced control theories. Wei's earlier experiences include serving as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as an internship at Shanghai Volkswagen. Wei holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
