Alan Clarke

Alan Clarke has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alan currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer at ESW, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, Alan worked at Klarna, where they held various leadership positions. From April 2020 onwards, they were the Global Commercial Group Lead. Before that, they served as the Director of Global Business Development from September 2017 to March 2020. Alan also held the role of Head of UK Commercial at Klarna from August 2015 to August 2017. Alan's earlier career includes roles at American Express, where they worked as a Senior Manager for Global Merchant Services from April 2014 to June 2015. Alan also served as a Senior Manager for Supplier Management & Procurement from October 2010 to March 2014 and started their tenure at American Express as a Business Development Manager for Global Business Travel from April 2007 to October 2010.

Alan Clarke attended NUI Maynooth from 1997 to 2000, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Geography. During the same time period, they also enrolled in the University of Ireland, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in French and Geography.
