Daniel Gómez Villanueva

Daniel Gómez Villanueva has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel is currently working at Klarna as a Lead Engineer since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at PriceRunner from March 2018 to November 2022, initially as a Back End Developer and later as a Technical Lead.

Before that, Daniel worked at Findwise AB from October 2012 to February 2018 as an Information Access Consultant. Their responsibilities included making various types of information available, specializing in Intranets for municipalities and e-commerce sites. Daniel also served as a team leader and technical lead in several projects.

From September 2008 to June 2010, Daniel worked as a Teacher at Ottawa AIE, where they supported the teaching of a group of 10 children in the afternoons. Daniel also prepared their own teaching material and handled communication between the teaching center and the employer.

Prior to that, they worked at Idealoga from October 2007 to May 2008 as a Teacher, where they assisted in the school knowledge of a group of 10 teenagers, running both group lectures and personal lessons.

Daniel's earliest work experience was at Henarsa, S.A., where they worked as a Toll Collector from June 2007 to September 2007.

Daniel Gómez Villanueva pursued their education in the field of computer engineering. Daniel first attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2006 to 2010, obtaining an Engineer's degree. Following this, they enrolled at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012 and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also obtained additional certifications. In 2014, they became an Authorized LucidWorks trainer and later in 2019, they earned the Elasticsearch Engineer II certification from Elastic.
