Rafiyath Shagir

Rafiyath Shagir has a wide range of work experience in the technology field. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Service Engineer at Eltel Networks, where they were involved in testing air traffic control software and assembling UMTS/3G network infrastructure. They then moved on to roles such as Application Specialist at Netgiro Systems AB, where they administered Java applications and implemented automations. At Tradedoubler, they continued their role as an Application/Tools Administrator and Release Manager, managing Java applications and overseeing package deliveries and deployment processes. They also worked as an Application Administrator at EVRY Sverige and Swedish Export Credit Corporation, where they were responsible for system administration and monitoring. Currently, Rafiyath is working at Klarna as an Engineer, where they are involved in finance engineering tasks, infrastructure design and development, building system integrations and workflows, and continuous improvement of operations.

Rafiyath Shagir completed their Engineering in IT and Electronics degree from GTI, The Technical Institute of Gothenburg from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Ericsson high school/upper secondary school from 1994 to 1997, focusing on Industrial Technology. In addition to their education, Rafiyath Shagir obtained the ITIL Foundation certification in March 2014.
