Steven Clarke's work experience begins in 2008 with their role as a Client Relationship Manager at Tavasys Telecom. Steven then worked as a Financial Analyst at Monarch Corporation from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they became a Research Analyst at Bioenterprise Corporation Canada.

In 2010, Steven took on the role of Country Manager - Canada at Payments eXchange: Canada's Payments Community. In the same year, they also started working at The Hunt Group, first as a Marketing Analyst and later as the Manager of Partner Services.

From 2010 to 2014, Steven was the Vice President of East Village Residence at the University of Guelph. During this time, they also served as the Director of Partner Management - Strategic Partnerships at Moneris from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they held various positions at Moneris, including Manager of Business Development - Partners and Business Development Manager of giftcertificates.ca.

In 2021, Steven joined Partnership Leaders as an Executive Member. At Klarna, they worked as the Head of Partnerships - Canada from 2021 to 2022, and currently serves as the Head of Canada & North American Partnerships.

Additionally, Steven is the BNPL Co-Chair at the Canadian Lenders Association, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Steven has focused on partnership development, business development, and management roles in the telecommunications, payments, and university sectors.

Steven Clarke completed their Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management Co-op at the University of Guelph, from 2006 to 2011. Steven also obtained a Certificate of Leadership from the Lang School of Business & Economics at the University of Guelph during the same period. Prior to their university education, they earned a Highschool Diploma from Erindale Secondary School in 2006.
