Robert Sorg

Robert Sorg is a seasoned professional in the library and cultural heritage sector, currently serving as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Direktion at Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek since April 2024, while simultaneously holding the position of Librarian in Digital Development at Klassik Stiftung Weimar since May 2010. At Klassik Stiftung Weimar, Robert Sorg also fulfills roles such as stellvertretender Referatsleiter and team leader for digital initiatives, notably overseeing the digital transformation and online provision of the Leipziger Literaturzeitung. Additional responsibilities include bibliographic and content development for significant historical literary publications. As Vorstandsvorsitzender of Jenaer Kunstverein since November 2016, Robert Sorg contributes to the promotion of the arts.
