Mr. Hunter joined KLDiscovery in 2008 as a forensic and eDiscovery analyst. During his earlier years of the company, Mr. Hunter was integral in the creation of the company’s first internal Information Technology group as well as process design and workflow standards for many others. He has performed countless forensic collections and has had hands-on experience conducting data analysis using a breadth of eDiscovery tools. He was quickly promoted to Manager and in 2011 became the company’s first Director of Operations & Forensics. Mr. Hunter has also played a vital role in the research, planning, testing, verification and maintenance of in-house developed software for the acquisition, culling, processing and reporting of various types of data. He has been overseeing the day-to-day operations ever since and continues to expand his responsibilities as the company has grown globally.
A 2006 graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Mr. Hunter earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management. In 2007 he had also attained a certificate in Information Assurance (CTIA) and an advanced certificate in Computer Forensics (CVCFC) through Washtenaw County Community College. During his time as an examiner, he was a member of numerous forensic societies and certification groups along with his currently held Private Investigator licenses.
As one of the earliest employees of KLDiscovery, Mr. Hunter has had the luxury of being a part of nearly every team in the company - experience that is invaluable as he leads a myriad of global operations teams today. In part, he manages nearly half of the staff at KLDiscovery, with a focus on global Facilities, Information Technology and Security, Forensics and all Operations (Paper, eDiscovery, Hosting, and Data Storage Technologies/Data Recovery).
