Yomi Kang

Yomi Kang is an experienced data analyst currently working at Knapheide as a Data Analyst II, focusing on data warehousing, ETL development using Python, dashboard automation, and reporting in Tableau, alongside natural language processing with Spacy and NLTK. Prior experience includes a short role at DeepNatural, Inc. as a Data Analyst, where productivity reports were developed using AWS Athena, and strategic questions were addressed through analytic structures. Yomi served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, developing deep learning models for NIH chest X-ray data and enhancing a Python agent-based simulation model for an NFL team. Education includes a Master of Science in Business Analytics and a Master's degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Law from Chungnam National University.
