Merlijn Twaalfhoven is a committed artist and educator with a focus on societal impact through creativity. Currently serving as a Jury member for Sustainable 100 at Trouw and Lecturer for the Honours module on artist mindset at the University of Amsterdam, Merlijn also holds significant roles as Founder of The Turn Club and Minister van de Toekomst. Active in various initiatives since 2001, Merlijn co-founded the Sociaal Creatieve Raad, fostering collaboration among artists and diverse societal networks post-pandemic. An artistic collaborator at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis, Merlijn’s work bridges science and art. With an extensive educational background in music composition and leadership, Merlijn Twaalfhoven continues to drive forward-thinking projects that address urgent global challenges.
