Marcio Moreira

Marcio Moreira has over twenty years of experience in the software industry. Marcio began their career in 1998 as a Consultant for Infor, where they were responsible for installing, implementing, migrating, performing localization changes in the software, developing new reports, and providing level three support to customers in Latin America. In 2003, they joined IBM as an Analyst for the PUB mainframe application, where they were responsible for understanding new system requirements and making program code maintenance. In 2005, they moved to EDS, an HP company, as a Senior Test Specialist, where they tested the Smartauction web-application for GM dealers. In 2009, they joined Borland as a Senior Test Specialist, where they were responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining manual test scripts for testing, managing bugs using MsExcel spreadsheets, and executing SQL queries to build data to execute the test cases. In 2010, they joined ATECH - NEGÓCIOS EM TECNOLOGIA S/A as a Senior Test Specialist, where they worked on the Air Traffic Control application in various projects. In 2013, they joined Walmart.com - Brasil (Walmart eCommerce Brasil) as a Senior E-Commerce Analyst, where they were responsible for the Agile Process and Jira. In 2015, they joined 8 West Consulting as a Software tester engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for manual and automated test, HP QTP/UFT, API, UI, VB Script, Windows, SQL, MS SQL Server, functional, back office, database, process, and service testing. Most recently in 2021, they joined Kneat Solutions as a QC Tester Engineer.

Marcio Moreira received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 1984, following a Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1982. Marcio also has experience in system verification.
