Rachel Marum

Rachel Marum has over twenty years of work experience. Rachel began their career in 1994 as a General Operator and Customer Service Representative for Creative Labs Ltd. (IRL). In 1998, Rachel moved to IBM Mulhuddart as a General Operator. In 2000, they worked as an IT Instructor for County Dublin VEC. From 2011 to 2016, Rachel worked as an IT Tutor and Administrator for Marum Customs. During this time, they also studied Software Development part-time at NUI Maynooth. In 2015, Rachel took on the role of Technical Analyst at Vodafone Ireland. Finally, in 2016, Rachel became a Software Tester and QA Graduate Tester at CR2 Channel Banking Software. In 2022, Rachel began working as a Software Test Engineer for Kneat Solutions.

Rachel Marum has an extensive education history. Rachel began their studies in 1984, earning their Junior Certificate from St. Aidan's Community School in 1988. Rachel then earned their Grade 12 Diploma from MacLaughlain's High School in 1990. In 2013, they obtained a HETAC Level 6 Certificate in Computer Programming from the College of Computer Training (CCT). Rachel also obtained an Oracle MySQL 5 Developer Certified Professional and an Adobe DreamWeaver CS5 Certificate in the same year. In 2014, they earned a HETAC Level 6 Certificate in Computer Programming from the College of Computer Training (CCT). In 2015, they earned a NUI Higher Certificate in Science (Software Development) Level 7 from NUI Maynooth and an ISTQB Certified Software Tester Foundation Level from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. In 2019, they began their Graduate Certificate in Technical Writing from the University of Limerick, which they are still pursuing. Additionally, they have obtained several other certifications, including a Special Needs Assistant Diploma from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council) & Froebel in 2009 and a NUI Certificate in Training and Continuing Education from the National University Ireland in 2006.
