Ben Schubert

Partner & Head of Institutional Sales, Australia at Knight Frank Australia

Having spent time performing a number of key leadership roles including National Head of Agency, Ben is currently the Head of Institutional Sales, Australia which is a role that allows him to focus on his true passion, running major institutional transactions for Knight Franks key clients. Since joining Knight Frank in 2017, Ben has been responsible for the sale of 201 Elizabeth Street ($630m), The Zenith Chatswood ($438.2m), Jessie Street Centre Parramatta ($415m), 135 King Street Sydney ($340m), 1-5 Thomas Holt Drive Macquarie Park ($295m), 52 Goulburn Street Sydney ($176m) and 72 Christie Street St Leonards ($157m).

Ben commenced his career in the office valuations team at Colliers International prior to moving into the commercial agency team focusing on the sale of institutional grade assets within the Sydney CBD including the sale of 35 Clarence Street, Sydney (~$100m). In 2012 Ben moved from Colliers International to JLL in a similar agency role and was responsible for the successful sales transactions of 10 Barrack Street, the Bushells Building, 107 Pitt Street and 16 Spring Street. In 2013 Ben joined The GPT Group as a Capital Transactions Manager and was responsible for the acquisition and divestment of office and industrial assets across Australia. In this Capital Transactions role, Ben was involved in deals totalling $1.5bn, including the acquisition of Corner of Bourke and William Streets, Melbourne, the acquisition of a 33% interest in 111 Eagle Street, Brisbane and the divestment of The Zenith in Chatswood.
