Liam Matthews

Liam Matthews has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Liam began their career at Hubbox Ltd. in 2017 as a Bartender. In 2016, Liam joined Knightor Winery as a Food and Beverage Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Bar Supervisor, where they were responsible for managing a team, ordering drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Liam then took on the role of Cellarhand, where they gained experience in vineyard maintenance, winemaking, sales, and IT support. Liam returned to Knightor Winery in 2021 as an Assistant General Manager and Wet Sales & Front of House Manager, overseeing various operational responsibilities. In 2022, they joined Humble Grape as an Assistant General Manager, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations. Currently, Liam works as a Sales Manager at Knightor Winery, displaying their expertise in sales and management.

Liam Matthews has studied at Truro and Penwith College, where they obtained a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in IT with a 90 Credit Award, achieving a Distinction* Distinction. Their field of study was Information Technology. In addition, Liam has also obtained two additional certifications: a Level 3 Diploma for Managers from GP Strategies - EMEA Region in November 2020 and a Level 3 Award in Wines from WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in April 2020.
