Lisa Tamura, SPHR

Lisa Tamura, SPHR has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources. Lisa began their career in 1997 as an Employee Relations Specialist at MCI Communications, where they conducted investigations into internal personal issues including sexual harassment and discrimination. In 2000, they moved to The Hertz Corporation as Manager Employee Relations, where they managed the Human Resources department supporting 26+ Western Region equipment rental locations. In 2002, Lisa joined FedEx Office as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, where they were a Human Resources Business Partner to Regional and Branch Managers. In 2003, they were appointed Human Resources Director at Cingular Wireless, where they managed Human Resources strategies, benefits, payroll, employee relations, workers compensation, and policy compliance updates. In 2019, Lisa became Human Resources Director at IBH Integrated Behavioral Health, where they implemented initiatives to support organizational objectives for growth and develop change management. In 2021, they joined Colibri Group as Human Resources Manager - Allied Schools / Colibri, where they managed human resource operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, talent acquisition and headcount. Currently, Lisa is the Director of Human Resources at Knightscope, where they are responsible for overseeing all HR initiatives, systems, and procedures, as well as developing and managing performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, and development and compliance.

Lisa Tamura, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA in Human Resources Management, summa cum laude from Grantham University. Lisa also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources\u00ae (SPHR\u00ae) Certification from HRCI, obtained in September 2020, as well as a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Certification from the City of Laguna Niguel, CA, obtained in March 2015.
