Tim Hall

Tim Hall has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Tim began their career at WZTV in 1992, working as a Senior Promotion Producer for six years. In 1998, they joined WTVF Newschannel 5 as a Promotion Producer, where they stayed until 2003. At WKBW-TV, Tim served as the Creative Services Director from 2003 to 2004, overseeing station marketing and on-air promotion. Tim then moved to WSMV-TV, where they held various roles from 2004 to 2020. As the Creative Services Director and Director of Broadcast Operations, Tim managed station promotion, commercial and local programming production, and the graphics department. Tim also served as the Integrated Programming & Commercial Production Manager, Executive Producer of Today in Nashville, and Executive Producer of The Southern Living Show and Southern Living's BBQ&A. Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing teams and overseeing major projects such as studio overhauls, graphic redesigns, and the transition to automation systems. In 2020, Tim began working as a Freelance Producer & Editor before joining Knocking as a Video Editor in 2021.

Tim Hall attended Western Kentucky University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Psychology.
