JaCarl Smith has worked in the sports industry since 2017. JaCarl began their career as a Flag Football Coach & Referee for Koa Sports League and a Game Night Marketing Staff for the Washington Wizards. In 2018, they became the Athletic Director at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, and in 2017 they were a Youth & Adult League Tournament Site Supervisor for Howard County Parks & Rec. JaCarl has also held positions as an Event Services Manager for the Washington Commanders, an Operations Intern for Comcast Spectacor, and a JV Boys Basketball Coach for Edmund Burke School. In 2019, they accepted a role as a Sports Manager for Special Olympics District of Columbia. In 2022, they will become an Event Manager at Towson University and a Game Night Staff & Brand Ambassador for the Washington Mystics.

JaCarl Smith attended Temple University's School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management from 2012 to 2017, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science in Sport & Recreation Management.
