Rob Wood

Rob Wood is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. As Managing Partner of Koan Analytics since December 2018, Rob has been instrumental in shaping the company's strategic direction and fostering business development. Previously, Rob served as a Senior Executive in various provincial and state governments from 2001 to 2018, gaining 17 years of leadership experience in technology, education, social services, and justice. As the inaugural CEO of Melbourne Polytechnic from 2015 to 2017, Rob oversaw the establishment of Australia’s first Polytechnic, managing significant staff and substantial financial resources while offering a diverse range of educational programs. Earlier in Rob's career, leadership roles at TELUS Communications involved driving impactful business transformations. Rob holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Western University, as well as a Master's degree in Public Administration from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Victoria.
