Vinay Thakkar

Vinay Thakkar is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Kobalt Music since July 2021, Vinay leads the cloud-based technical re-implementation of royalty calculation using a distributed event streaming platform. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Software Engineer at Argos, where Vinay implemented streaming data services for forecasting and replenishment, and as Innovation Lead at Capco, focusing on digital engineering solutions. Vinay's foundational experience includes positions at Accenture, Hexaware Technologies, and MoTech Software, with roles ranging from Technical Architect to Senior Developer, gaining expertise in Java technologies, microservices, and event-driven architecture. Vinay earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
