Cobit5 Johannes Simatupang

Johannes Simatupang has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Johannes began their career as an EDP Officer at Enersave Engineering Indonesia in 1996, followed by a role as a MIS Senior Officer at PT. Adhinusa Lestari Jaya, Jakarta from 1997 to 1998. From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a System Analyst and Software Development Manager at Sumber Saran Sempurna, where they managed software development teams and implemented tour and travel systems. Starting in 2001, Johannes became an IT Assistant Manager and later a Senior Software Engineer at Bahana Inovasi Adikarya, where they were involved in business analysis, software development, and budget estimation for ERP projects. From 2003 to 2008, they were an Informatics Lecturer at Perbanas Institute Jakarta, teaching courses related to information systems and programming. From 2007 to 2009, Johannes served as the MIS/IT Division Manager at PT. Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PERSERO). In 2009, they joined PT Kobexindo Tractors Tbk as the IT Corporate Head and Next Gen ERP Project Head, responsible for IT governance, ERP implementation, and budget planning. Johannes also worked as an ERP Project Manager at Kobexindo Group from 2010 to 2011 and as a Mobile CRM Project Manager from 2020 to 2021. Johannes is currently the Founder and Business Development Manager at Horizon OpenSolusi since 2022. Additionally, they have been a faculty member at BINUS University since 2011, teaching courses on machine learning and compilation techniques in the School of Computer Science. With their extensive experience in IT governance, software development, and teaching, Johannes brings a well-rounded expertise to their roles.

- Johannes pursued a Doctorate in Computer Science from BINUS UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM.

- In 2013, they completed an Executive Education program in Diplomacy Information System Auditor from BINUS University.

- From 2012 to 2013, they also completed an Executive Education program in Diploma Financial Planner from BINUS University.

- Johannes obtained an S2-Magister Degree in Informatic Technique from STTI BENARIF INDONESIA, from 2000 to 2003.

- Johannes earned their S1 degree in Informatic Technique from Universitas Budi Luhur, where they attended from 1991 to 1997.

- Johannes obtained a Computer Diploma 1 from Widyaloka Computer Institution in 1989 and 1990.

Additionally, Johannes holds various certifications, including a COBIT5 Foundation certification in IT Governance from APMG-International, obtained in November 2014.
