Elliot Kahn

Elliot is an experienced geologist having worked in the exploration and mining industry of Western Australia for eight years focused on Iron ore and Nickel systems.

Elliot completed his studies at the Australian National University and started as a graduate in the Pilbara with BHP. He progressed through roles in the exploration, geological modeling, and mining geology teams with his final two years as a senior exploration geologist. Throughout this time Elliot was exposed to industry-leading datasets and technology at the interface of geoscience and operations. Elliot planned and delivered extensive in-pit and exploration drilling programs to characterize resources and is passionate about integrating field mapping data to constrain orebody geometries and produce accurate interpretations.

More recently, Elliot has worked on an early-stage undercover exploration program targeting ortho-magmatic nickel under the Nullarbor plains of Western Australia. This project required innovation due to its frontier nature and an appreciation of how technology can help uncover new search spaces. Elliot has worked with multi-scale perspectivity maps and has a sound approach to exploration planning, strategy, and execution.
