Stephen Cho has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and food industry. Stephen started their career as a Product Development Intern at Excursionist LLC, where they managed the Central Management System and researched hotel information. Stephen then had internships at Hilton Worldwide as a Human Resource Intern and at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC as a Food & Beverage Intern. Stephen also worked as a Host at BR Guest and as an Operations Intern at BR Guest. Stephen continued their career at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where they served as a Food & Beverage Manager in Training and later as a Food & Beverage Supervisor. Stephen then became a Managing Partner at Little Meats LA before joining Kobunga Korean Grill as a Partner and COO.

Stephen Cho attended New York University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Tourism Management with a concentration in Operations and Organizations. Stephen also pursued a minor in Food Studies during their time at the university. In 2011, Stephen briefly studied Mandarin at East China Normal University, and in 2010, they studied Mandarin at Peking University. Additionally, in 2008, they attended the Geos Kudan Japanese Institute for Japanese Traditions and Culture, although it is unclear if they obtained any degree or pursued a specific field of study during this time.
