Inder Raj is an experienced corporate commercial lawyer, with professional experience exceeding eleven years, capable of rendering advice on the broad spectrum of legal problems confronting businesses in the contemporary Indian environment.

He has extensive experience in main stream corporate commercial legal practice including strategic and general corporate advise, M&A, corporate contracting, private equity and venture capital. He has rendered advise on transactional matters including structuring and advise on entry/exit strategies for foreign entities; joint ventures; acquisitions; corporate restructurings including mergers, demergers, reduction of capital, elimination of cross holdings and spin offs; due diligences; advise on regulatory issues including procuring approvals from FIPB, NHB and RBI.

In addition, he is experienced in advising on tendering procedures and fair award laws, exchange control laws, sector specific compliance matters, commercial litigation and arbitration.

Inder Raj has advised clients in multi-jurisdictional shareholder control litigation(s) with diverse civil and criminal proceedings across forums. He possesses hands on experience in handling complex commercial disputes across various High Courts and the Supreme Court of India. He has also handled both domestic and international commercial arbitrations and has represented several clients in commercial joint-venture/ investment disputes before institutional and privately constituted arbitral tribunals comprising retired Supreme Court Justices.
