Laurent Ducry

Vice President, Biologics Development and Manufacturing at Kodiak

Laurent Ducry has extensive experience in the biologics development and manufacturing industry. Laurent started their career as a process development chemist at Lonza in 2000 and worked in this role until 2007. From 2008 to 2016, Ducry worked as the Group Leader of Bioconjugates R&D at Lonza. Following that, they became the Head of Bioconjugates Commercial Development at Lonza from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Ducry is the Vice President of Biologics Development and Manufacturing at Kodiak Sciences, where they oversee the global supply chain of bioconjugates.

Laurent Ducry started their education in 1990 at the University of Lausanne - UNIL, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1994. In 1994, they attended the University of Bristol for a short period and obtained a Master of Science degree in Organic Chemistry. Later, from 1995 to 1998, Ducry pursued their Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at ETH Zürich. Their educational journey culminated with a Post-Doctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Organic Chemistry from 1999 to 2000.
