Description

We're looking for a support specialist to assist our underwriting team. You will be responsible for all aspects of underwriting support including agency management, customer success, account analysis, application processing and policy maintenance. You will work with a team to assist in the underwriting, rating and pricing process. The ideal candidate is an insurtech nerd with trucking underwriting experience who is willing to get their hands dirty with all functions of underwriting and customer success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical evangelist of policy administration, telematics, and claims systems

  • Engage with technology partners to facilitate partner onboarding and define new feature requests

  • Support agency relationships with underwriting team

  • Process notices of cancellation and non-renewal, renewals, and endorsements

  • Facilitate claims processing from first notice of loss through settlement

  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to track KPIs, augment reporting and share analysis

  • Process insurance filings to relevant state and federal agencies

Requirements

  • BS or BA preferred

  • 2+ years of underwriting support and/or underwriting experience in commercial trucking insurance

  • 1+ years of experience in customer success and advocacy

  • Fluency with web-based productivity software and interest in SQL, programming concepts

  • Focus on detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
