Pieter Brabers

Pieter Brabers is a Science Teacher at KOGEKA since September 2020, specializing in applied chemistry, biology, and physics. Prior experience includes a research internship at FibriCheck, focusing on the impact of atrial fibrillation screening with mobile technologies, and a junior internship at the Institute for Materials Research, where projects revolved around nanoparticles for imaging and therapy, involving techniques such as fluorescence spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Pieter holds a Master's degree in Teaching in Health Sciences and a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Bioelectronics and Nanotechnology, both from UHasselt, where Pieter also completed a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences.
