Moein Shakeri

Moein Shakeri is a senior computer vision R&D engineer at Koh Young Technology, Inc. since October 2022, bringing extensive expertise in computer vision and robotics. Previously, Moein served as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Alberta, where contributions included developing novel methods for highlight specular reflection removal that enhanced 3D shape reconstruction. With a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, research experience spans pivotal roles at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Meta Net Gostar Inc., focusing on object detection, tracking systems, and advancements in machine learning applications. Academic achievements include a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, complemented by significant improvements in accuracy in moving object detection and multimodal systems throughout various research initiatives.
