About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Sr. Financial Analyst, Strategic Finance to join our team for a role to work remotely based in Canada. 

Reporting to the Director of Strategic Finance, you’re going to be a part of a team that is the financial heartbeat of everything at KOHO.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, reporting & analytics, and business partnering to foster KOHO’s financial success. You will spearhead development and enhancement of financial models and analysis, collaborate with cross functional teams, contribute to key business decisions. 

What You’ll Do

  • You will own, develop and enhance the financial models for long term planning, investor relations, product and partnership developments, and special projects
  • You will play a vital role in KOHO’s annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working with teams across the company to shape the roadmap to ensure KOHO is meeting its financial goals
  • You will prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, ensuring that the executive team is well informed on all things related to financial performance and cash position of the company
  • You will build new reports, provide insights and analysis, and identify opportunities and risks in the business plans
  • You will dive deeply into financial and statistical data and become a subject matter expert for areas of the P&L, provide insights and recommendations to support decision making

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Finance, with emphasis on financial modeling, financial planning, and management reporting & analysis
  • Professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA).
  • A self-starter with a can-do attitude, demonstrates resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
  • Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate findings/analysis and present ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Highly advanced analytical and problem solving skills, including ability to synthesize financial data into relevant analyses with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
  • Growth mindset and embrace changes, looks for new ways of doing things, including automation and process improvements
  • Database (SQL), VBA, or other programming knowledge is highly desirable.

Compensation at KOHO is determined through various factors including but not limited to: comparable salary market data within Canada, technical skill assessment, a holistic view of previous work history, and internal pay equity with other KOHO team members.

Target Base Salary Range
$75,000$115,000 CAD
