Islam Gamal

Islam Gamal has worked in the technology industry since 2008. In 2008, they began as a Java Software Engineer at IT-Blocks. Islam then worked as a Software Engineer at DashSoft in 2009, where they developed outsourced .net based projects. In 2010, they joined OTVentures as a Software Engineer, developing websites and Facebook applications for advertising campaigns. In 2013, they moved to Breakthrough Consultancy as a Development Lead. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Integrant, Inc. as a Technical Project Lead, Technical Team Lead, and Principal Software Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for code reviews and technical research. In 2019, they joined Inetum as an Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Manager. In 2021, they began working as the Head Of Engineering at Koinz. Additionally, from 2009 to 2021, they have been a Teacher Assistant at Helwan University Cairo - Faculty of Computers and AI, teaching academic courses such as Programming Language 1 "C", Programming Language 2 "C++", and Programming Language 2 "C#, Java".

Islam Gamal received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Helwan University Cairo in 2008, followed by a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2013. Islam is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science at Helwan University Cairo, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
