Michael Forrest, PE has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael started their career as an IS Coordinator at Auxiant, where they were responsible for maintaining the RIMS claims administration product and automating client data acquisition. Michael then worked as a Sales Lead at Frantz Group, focusing on generating sales leads for software and hardware. After that, they served as a Network Administrator at Ansay & Associates, managing telco and WAN and providing system and network support. Michael then joined Lakeside Foods as an Engineering Intern, assisting the Director of Operations in various engineering projects. Following that, they worked at Magnetek as an Inside Sales Application Engineer, where they provided phone support, advised on standards applicability, and integrated control panels in various industries. Currently, they are with Komatsu Mining as a Principal Engineer, leading technical projects and supporting code development for machine and internal management.

Michael Forrest, PE has a strong educational background in the fields of Electrical Engineering and Computer Information Systems. In 1999, they attended Herzing College and obtained an A.S degree in Computer Information Systems in 2001. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering.

Furthermore, Michael has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional skill set. In December 2012, they obtained their Engineer In Training certification from NCEES. Additionally, in February 2020, they became a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) through the State of Wisconsin. These certifications demonstrate their dedication to their field and ongoing professional development.
