The Opportunity at Komodo Health

  • The HEOR Market Segment Product Manager is accountable for defining and delivering product offerings that delight customers and drive revenue growth  in their market’s domain.
  • They are experts of their domain who stay abreast of the market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • They champion customer needs, define the product roadmap, partnering with engineering and data product teams to deliver on said roadmap, and support go-to-market strategy to drive revenue growth, account penetration and customer retention.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…

  • Established and began to execute a product strategy (what/why/when to build and how to win customers)  that delivers products that meets customer’s current and future needs in your domain to meet revenue targets,  increase account penetration and customer retention 
  • Partnered across engineering and data product organizations to deliver on product roadmap with predictability and timeliness, making tradeoffs between short term and long term customer needs
  • Established a shared an understanding our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats within your domain
  • Established competitive business models (pricing levels, pricing levers, SKU definitions, product bundles) for product offerings in your domain that supports revenue growth and account penetration targets

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Defining and prioritizing product offerings and/or product features via the product roadmap, factoring in customer needs, technology and data dependencies and the market opportunity in the short term and long term 
  • Consistently meet externally with customers and partners to understand market trends, competitive landscape and customer needs in the near-term and long-term
  • Partnered across the organization to create and enhance product documentation, training assets, and support models for offerings
  • Step in to lead sprint ceremonies (standup, grooming, planning) when called upon to do so.
  • Successfully partnered across matrixed organization of  Product, Data Product and Engineering to deliver product offerings in line with product strategy for your domain
  • Successfully partnered across organization with Go-To-Market Operations to define and execute go-to-market strategy that emphasizes our value proposition and positioning to predictably within their domain
  • Partnered closely with Marketing to consistently evolve and share our value proposition and positioning

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • Deep market domain expertise - clear understanding of use cases, user personas, customer pain points, competitive landscape across data, analytics and workflow software solutions 
  • Superb understanding of domain-specific enterprise SaaS and B2B solutions for data and analytics and how they are leveraged to drive value for customers in their domain
  • Demonstrated leadership of moving ideas from discovery to delivery with a proven ability to approach prioritization between what can be done vs what should be done
  • Effective oral and highly visual written communication skills with the purpose of bringing clarity to complexity and communicating to inform and influence across cross-functional teams and leadership.

Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…

  • Experience working in a product management role exhibiting fundamental collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Evangelist of user-centered design principles and road-mapping tools.
  • A thirst for knowledge, willingness to learn, and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in driving product market fit to increase account penetration and customer retention

Compensation at Komodo Health

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay across all U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The U.S. national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan.
$141,400$235,500 USD

Where You’ll Work

Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the power of choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of both our company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completely remote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in a specific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote work options.
