Abdul Salam

Abdul Salam has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and software development. Abdul started their career at Polysophy Inc. as a Research Lead, where they developed apps for automating research data ingestion and conducted statistical analysis for academic journals.

Abdul then joined Spark Foundry, where they served as a Senior Data Analyst and later as a Software Engineer. In these roles, they constructed and implemented SQL queries, wrangled and munged data, and developed Python-based ETL processes for optimizing real-time media. Abdul also provided oversight and technical support for a business intelligence analytic platform.

After that, Abdul worked at Publicis Groupe as a Senior Data Engineer, specializing in ETL pipeline development with Scala Spark Apps. Abdul optimized Spark parameters and monitored and troubleshooted AWS Simple WorkFlow and Data Pipeline jobs.
