Alessio Calcagno

Alessio Calcagno has over 15 years of experience in the field of electro-mechanical software development, currently serving as the Head of Electro-mechanical Embedded Software at KONE since September 2008. Responsibilities include leading teams in the development, testing, and maintenance of advanced software for electromechanical drive trains and elevator door products. Alessio has held various positions at KONE, including acting as product owner for KONE volume drives and leading teams in motion and motor control applications. Previous experience includes a role as a Hardware Engineer at Ansaldo STS, specializing in FPGA hardware development. Alessio holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Università degli studi di Genova and has completed executive education at IE Business School, along with being a certified Scrum Master.
