Wynand van der Walt

Wynand van der Walt has extensive experience in the elevator industry, currently serving as the National Maintenance Operations Manager and previously as the Regional Operations Manager at KONE since November 2016. Prior to this role, Wynand held various positions at Otis Elevator Company from October 1991 to October 2016, including Regional Operations Manager, Branch Manager, Estimating Manager, and National Key Accounts Executive, overseeing maintenance, sales, and construction operations. Early in the career, Wynand worked at Transtel as an Apprentice in telecommunications. Educational achievements include a Bachelors Degree in Management and Leadership from the University of the Free State, strategic planning certifications from Otis University and Duke University School of Business, and a National Certificate in Communication Electronics from a Technical College in Bloemfontein.
