Dustin Ryerson

Dustin Ryerson has a strong background in front-end engineering, with experience in multiple companies and roles. Dustin currently works as a Senior Front End Engineer at Kong Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Joyent from 2018 to 2021 as a Cloud Deployment Engineer Front End UX/UI. In this role, they led the front-end engineering for the Samsung Mobile Infrastructure Engineering team and was responsible for designing and building front-end platforms, rewriting applications, and managing three front-end applications.

Before joining Joyent, Dustin worked at Creative Market from 2017 to 2018 as a Front End Web Development Engineer. Dustin was part of the team that built Creative Market Pro from scratch and contributed to developing new features, improving existing ones, and fixing bugs using Vue.

Dustin also has extensive experience at Liferay, where they worked from 2012 to 2017. Dustin held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Junior Software Engineer. In these positions, they handled technical support escalations, analyzed and fixed software bugs, created deliverable hotfixes and patches, and collaborated with global engineering teams.

Dustin began their career as a Junior Full Stack Engineer at CT Group from 2011 to 2012.

Throughout their career, Dustin Ryerson has demonstrated strong technical skills in front-end development using technologies such as JavaScript (ES6) and Vue.js. Dustin has experience in building new products, improving existing ones, managing multiple applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additionally, they have shown a commitment to continuous learning and mentoring.

From 2007 to 2011, Dustin Ryerson attended Biola University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
