Mattia Lavacca

Mattia Lavacca has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Mattia started their career in 2019 as a Summer of Code intern with CNCF and Falco, where they focused on analyzing Falco's performance and suggesting improvements. Mattia then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Politecnico di Torino in 2020, contributing to an open-source project called Liqo and gaining expertise in Kubernetes APIs and libraries. In 2021, they joined Kubermatic as a Software Engineer, working on Kubernetes software development, deployment, and integration with cloud providers. Currently, they are employed at Kong Inc. as a Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Mattia Lavacca completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, spanning from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in computer networks from the same institution, from 2017 to 2020.
