Dr. Christian Amsel

Dr. Christian Amsel has held various leadership positions in the automotive industry. Dr. Christian started their career at HELLA in 2003, where they served as Geschäftsleitung and was responsible for worldwide P&L and product management in areas such as energy management and driver assistance systems. Dr. Christian also served on the supervisory board of joint ventures in Korea and Germany. In 2017, they joined Inalfa Roof Systems Group as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing European operations. In 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Europe before transitioning to their current role as the Chief Technology Officer and President of Powertrain & Chassis at Kongsberg Automotive.

Dr. Christian Amsel earned their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications from RWTH Aachen University, completing their studies from 1991 to 1998. Dr. Christian further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree while working as a Scientific Assistant from 1998 to 2003.
