Operating Group President at Koniag Government Services

Gordon Pullar, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gordon is currently the Operating Group President at Koniag Government Services, responsible for leading the operations management operating group. Prior to this, they developed business and oversaw operations for KGS' legal, occupational health, and administrative services portfolio.

Before joining Koniag Government Services, Pullar served as the Director of Business Operations at Koniag, Inc., where they were involved in subsidiary development, SBA compliance, and operational analysis. Gordon then transitioned to lead Kadiak, LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag.

In addition to their corporate roles, Pullar has served as a Tribal Council Member and President at Tangirnaq Native Village, a federally recognized tribe with a focus on enhancing the lives of tribal members through programs and services. Gordon has also been a valuable member of the Board of Directors for the Alutiiq Heritage Foundation (Alutiiq Museum), Leisnoi, Inc. (Alaska Native Village Corporation), and Koniag Education Foundation, where they have been actively involved in heritage preservation, land management, and providing scholarships and grants to Alutiiq students.

Furthermore, Pullar has dedicated their time to serve as a Board of Directors Member for the Alaska Native Professional Association (ANPA) and as a head coach for the FSU ACHA Division III club hockey team while attending graduate school at Florida State University.

Overall, Pullar has demonstrated their expertise in operations management, business development, and leadership, while actively contributing to the betterment of their community and the preservation of their heritage.

Gordon Pullar, Jr. pursued their education in a disciplined and dedicated manner. Gordon first attended Florida State University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. Following this, from 2007 to 2010, they enrolled at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where they obtained a Master of Arts in Rural Development.

In 2019, they further expanded their knowledge by attending the Harvard Business School, where they completed a certificate program in Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities. Through their educational journey, Gordon's focus has been on subjects that provide a strong foundation for understanding and contributing to their chosen fields of study.
