Shannon Watts

Shannon Watts has extensive work experience in the field of infrastructure engineering, with a focus on VMware virtualization technology. Their most recent role was as a Principal Engineer at Kontoor Brands, Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at VF Corporation for five years as an Infrastructure Engineer, where they managed VMware infrastructure, Windows Server OS, and Intel based Server Hardware. Before VF Corporation, Shannon worked at HCL Technologies as an Associate Consultant, managing VMware infrastructure, and at Volvo Financial Services as a Senior Systems Application Engineer, also managing VMware infrastructure. Shannon has also worked at Fujitsu as a Senior Systems Engineer, BCBSNC as a Senior Systems Engineer, Volvo Group as a Technical Operations Manager and Windows Systems Administrator, and Siebel Systems as a Technical Support Engineer. Shannon has a strong background in virtualization technology, systems administration, and infrastructure management.

Shannon Watts completed their Associate of Science in Pre-Business Administration from Southeastern Community College in 1997. Shannon then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, which they obtained in 2000.
