Iwan Dodd

Iwan Dodd has extensive experience in business development and leadership roles, primarily in the aerospace and defense industry. Iwan is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Kopin Corporation since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Business Development Aerospace & Defense (A&D) at G&H Photonics from August 2019. Before that, from February 2018 to March 2023, they were Vice President of Business Development, Aerospace & Defense at Gooch & Housego. Iwan also served as the Director of Business Development, Aerospace & Defense at Gooch & Housego from May 2015 to January 2018. Earlier in their career, they held leadership roles such as President & CEO and VP Business Development - Defense at Thomas Global Systems LLC from August 2013 to February 2015, President & CEO & VP Business Development at BRIMAR Inc from January 2000 to August 2013, and Director of International Marketing at ITT Night Vision from January 1997 to January 2000. Iwan has also been the General Manager at Rank Brimar from August 1994 to January 1999 and the East Coast Sales Manager at Rank Brimar Inc from August 1989 to July 1994. Iwan started their career as a Sales Manager at Qioptiq, where they worked from 1981 to 1988.

Iwan Dodd attended Bangor University from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies.
