Tony MacHamer

Tony Machamer is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in supply chain management and forest certification. Currently serving as Director of Procurement at Koppers Inc. since January 2021, Tony oversees North American hardwood procurement and manages a team of up to 40 professionals with an annual spend of up to $300 million. Previously, Tony held roles such as Supply Chain Manager at Koppers Inc., and Certification Manager at Superior Hardwoods of Ohio, where responsibilities included forest certification, sales, and logistics. Tony began the career as a Fiber Security Representative at Smurfit Stone and worked as a Procurement Forester at both Smurfit Stone and Superior Hardwoods of Ohio. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and an Associate of Applied Science in Forestry from Hocking College.
