Afolabi Oyewo

Afolabi Oyewo has work experience in both finance operations and civil engineering. Afolabi currently works at Kora, starting in December 2021, where they are involved in finance operations and analytics. Prior to that, they worked at Dangote Petroleum Refining Company from August 2018 to December 2021 as a Civil Engineer. In this role, they oversaw and directed construction projects from start to finish, reviewed projects for scheduling purposes, and ensured quality assurance and quality control of all civil works.

Afolabi Oyewo's education history includes obtaining various certifications and degrees in the field of finance, business, and engineering. In 2013, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Covenant University. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Structural & Materials Engineering from the University of Ibadan, which they completed in 2017.

Afolabi's pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there. In 2019, they obtained a Financial Management Specialization from Coursera, as well as a Construction Management Specialization from the same institution.

Continuing their educational journey, Afolabi obtained several certifications in the finance and business field from the Corporate Finance Institute®(CFI). In 2022, they completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA®), Business Intelligence & Data Analyst (BIDA™), and Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA®) programs.

Additionally, Afolabi acquired the Certified DeFi Expert™ certification from the Blockchain Council in 2021. Overall, Afolabi Oyewo has pursued a diverse range of educational opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in finance, business, and engineering.
