Kelly Mello Woodsum has a diverse background in marketing and communications. Kelly has held various leadership roles in different companies and industries. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Senior Account Manager at Virtual, Inc., focusing on technology and supply chain. In 2000, they became the Director of Global Public Relations at MARC Global before moving on to become the Asst. Director of Marketing & Communications at Hallmark Health System, Inc. From 2006 to 2009, they served as the Executive Director of the Publicity Club of New England. Kelly then became the Executive Director of NESHCo, a professional organization for healthcare communications and marketing professionals, where they worked until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Marketing Manager for the Primary Care Service Line at Lahey Health. In 2006, they started their own association management firm, DKW Partners, where they served as a Partner until 2017. From 2010 onwards, they have had roles at Körber Supply Chain, starting as the Senior Director of Marketing and Strategy and later becoming the Vice President of Global Portfolio Marketing & Strategy. Additionally, they have experience in teaching as an Adjunct faculty/facilitator at Boston University in their Master of Science in Health Communications program. Kelly Mello Woodsum holds a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations & Communications from Emerson College, which they completed from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Public Relations from Saint Michael's College, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Kelly also holds a high school diploma from The Governors Academy, which they obtained from 1987 to 1990. Additionally, Kelly has obtained certification as a Certified Product Marketing Manager (CPMM) from Pragmatic Institute.
