Susan Hura

Susan Hura is an accomplished professional in the field of conversational design and user experience, currently serving as Chief Design Officer at Kore.ai since March 2022. Prior to this role, Susan was Director of Conversation Design Services at Interactions LLC and co-founded Banter Technology, creating conversational solutions for diverse clients. With extensive experience at SpeechUsability as Principal, leading user-centered research, and as Conference Co-Chair for SpeechTEK, Susan has significantly contributed to the advancement of voice user interface design. Earlier positions include Project Director at Human Factors International and Head of User Experience at Intervoice, where Susan established user-centered design practices. Susan Hura holds a PhD in Linguistics from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Linguistics from The Ohio State University.
