Laurie Flaherty

Laurie Flaherty, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive work experience in human resources, having held various leadership roles throughout their career. Currently, they serve as the Director of Human Resources at KORE Power, where they oversee HR operations. Prior to their current position, Laurie worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner and as a Human Resource Manager at KORE Solutions.

Before joining KORE Power, Laurie was the Founder, Owner, and Co-Director of AB2, LLC, where they played a prominent role in the company's success from 2013 to 2019. Laurie also served as the Director and Senior Site Administrator at HRSentry, a division of Enquiron, in 2013-2014.

Laurie has also founded and managed other organizations, including Green Mountain Performing Arts, where they were the Founder, Owner, and Executive Director from 2006 to 2012. Laurie also completed the MSA Graduate Program in Compensation Administration and Human Resource Management at Saint Michael's College and pursued graduate studies in Curriculum Development at Northern Vermont University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's Degree in Organization Development and Human Relations from Champlain College, with an expected graduation in December 2024. Laurie has obtained certifications such as the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in 2023 and the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in 2022. Additionally, they hold the Certified Instructor certification from Vermont Northern Lights Career Development Center, obtained in 2013.
