Sarah Nyawira

Sarah Nyawira is an experienced professional in climate action and environmental policy, currently serving as a Program Manager at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) since January 2022, where leadership is provided to a project team focused on sustainability and climate resilience initiatives in Kenya, Madagascar, Comoros, and Somalia. Previously, Sarah worked as a Communications Executive at Influx and held roles at the UN Environment Programme, where significant contributions were made to environmental projects and partner communication strategies. Early career experiences include positions at Friends of Nairobi National Park, African Technology Policy Studies Network, National Museums of Kenya, and Youth Agency for Development of Science, Technology and Innovation, emphasizing fundraising, research, and project support. Sarah holds a Master's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Nairobi and has a background in Botany and Zoology, supplemented by training in project management.
