James Spooner

James Spooner is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of M&A on the executive team at Korkia, Spooner drives strategic initiatives following the acquisition of RSF Capital Partners' renewable energy business. As a Founding Partner at RSF Capital Partners LLP, the focus remains on corporate finance within the energy transition. Spooner also holds director positions at Climate ER Helio Ltd and Evolution Power Limited, emphasizing rapid development of renewable energy projects in the UK. Prior to these roles, Spooner was the Managing Director at REYL Corporate Finance, co-heading a Structured Finance business, and served as an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, specializing in structured products trading. Spooner holds a Master's degree in Mathematical Modelling & Scientific Computing and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
